OZARK, Mo. -- The husband of a childcare center operator is charged with sitting naked on a sofa among children being cared for by his wife at her childcare center.  Christian County Prosecuting Attorney Ron Cleek charged Brian Albrecht with sexual misconduct involving a child under age 14. 

   Cleek gave this account in a news release:

    Albrecht’s wife operated a childcare at her home on South Cedarcrest in Nixa.   According to police, on May 24, Albrecht took a shower, then put on some clothes to go outside and purchase some ice cream from the ice cream man for the children being cared for by his wife, then went back inside and took off all his clothes and sat on the sofa, exposing himself to the children around him, including HJV who is 23 months old.

    According to the probable cause statement filed with the charge, Albrecht’s wife, Tabitha, took a picture with her cell phone of her husband exposing himself with HJV in the background.  Tabitha Albrecht then sent the photo to the cell phone of the mother of HJV. 

   Detective Brad Cole says Brian Albrecht admitted in a formal interview that this happened.  Albrecht could face up to a four-year prison sentence if he’s convicted.
