BRANSON, Mo -- Dozens of folks in Branson hit the links for a good cause.

The Woody & Vince Charity Golf Tournament was this weekend at the Payne Stewart Golf Course.

Musician Vince Gill was on hand to offer some music while 54 players hit the links. Other events included a putting contest and a charity auction.

"Payne Stewart was a good friend of mine, we played a lot of golf together," Gill said. "I think we had a friendship because he liked music like I liked golf."

"When they told me they built this golf course, and they were trying to do something as an unofficial grand opening, they said will you come up and play and sing, and I said sure."

All of Sunday's proceeds go toward The Skaggs Hospital Women's Health Center.
