SPRINGFIELD -- Folks in Springfield laced up the walking shoes Saturday to help battle a devastating disease.
Over 600 people turned out today for the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk at Jordan Valley Park.
Ky3's Ethan Forhetz was the honorary chair for this year's walk.
The annual event raised around $50,000 for Alzheimer's research, and to help families who are battling the disease.
Memory Walks are held across the country every summer to raise awareness of Alzheimer's Disease.
