BRANSON, Mo. -- The healthcare reform plan was one of the many issues protested Saturday during a T.E.A. (Taxed Enough Already) Party in Branson.
Organizers say the demonstrations give people a chance to speak out against what they see as mismanaged government.
Their goal is to get the attention of lawmakers and ensure the preservation of the Constitution.
"What we want people to know is if they're concerned over government spending and potential loss of freedom or liberty here in America," Eric Farris with the Branson T.E.A. Party Coalition said, "they are in the mainstream, and millions of people agree with them about the government."
Some of the other topics addressed include federal bailouts and Cap and Trade.
