Morning show shenanigans

The morning shows got plenty of attention this week, with Katie Couric guest-hosting "Good Morning America" on ABC, while NBC's "Today" featured its own guest host, Sarah Palin, on Tuesday. Palin didn't get the kindest reviews, but "Today" won that round, 5.5 million vs. 5.1 million. Then, the next day, the Couric-led "GMA" came out on top. And amid all the back and forth, there was the Matt Lauer drama over whether he was leaving "Today." That sort of ended Friday with the announcement of a "multi-year" deal.
