Albuquerque, NM -

The nationwide relay to benefit Boston marathon bombings victims and survivors is in New Mexico today on the way to Oklahoma City and Springfield, MO. The relay race started a week ago in Santa Monica, California. Track live progress of runners  here.

Organizers recently posted to Facebook that, "One Run For Boston 2 now has an unbroken chain of runners stretching over 3,300 miles from LA to Boston."

Each stage of the relay is about 10-to-12 miles long. KY3's Paul Adler and his wife will run relay stage 185 from Springfield to Strafford, MO on April first. You can get details on running with Paul and his wife-- or sponsor them  here.

The relay run will end in Boston on April 13th just a couple days before the anniversary of last year's tragedy.

Three people were killed and more than 260 injured when bombs exploded near the finish line. This year's Boston Marathon will be held on Monday, April 21st.
