Ed Fillmer, KY3 and The History Museum on the Square in Springfield collaborate to create the "Ozark Life Online” archive for our viewers, historians, schools and universities, libraries and any one interested in the Ozarks. In his many years at KY3, Ed Fillmer traveled down just about every road in the Ozarks, seeking stories no one else told. He covered our neighbors, people not usually in the headlines, folks keeping alive the ways of the past, and citizens who helped their neighbors and community. Many of those people and places are no longer as they were when Ed was there with his camera. His collaboration with The History Museum and KY3 will make it possible for all of us to see these stories again.

Ed Fillmer as ‘Journalist in Residence’ for The History Museum has created this non-profit collaboration to produce new stories for KY3 and compile his old Ozark Life stories for viewers to enjoy. Tax-deductible donations for this project can be made to The History Museum, john@historymuseumonthesquare.org
