( DOUGLAS KILPATRICK / SPECIAL TO THE MORNING CALL / February 9, 2013 ) Emily Kemmerer (left), 5, of Bath talks with Annmarie Kaspern (center), 14, of Bethlehem and Rebecca Stocker (right), 12, of Nazareth, as she registers and borrows a doll from the girls during the 9th Annual Formal Tea fundraiser for the Moravian Historical Society in the Whitefield House in Nazareth. Little girls and their dolls were invited to a Victorian-era formal tea in the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, across the street from the Historical Society, where they listened to the music of the Nazareth High School String Quartet, enjoyed their tea and dined on tea sandwiches and desserts, then played victorian-era games. The Historical Society is the third oldest society in the state dating back to 1857. |
