She joined the Navy in January 1944, had boot camp at Hunter College in Bronx, N.Y., attended parachute riggers school at Lakehurst, N.J., and was stationed at Naval Air Station Miami in Opa-locka, Fla. She was discharged in September 1945. Now 90, she lives in west Bethlehem. |
