Owens DMD, MBE, of Brienigsville, a dentist with the Lehigh Valley Hospital "Miles of Smiles" mobile dental unit high fives, patient Johnathan Jimenez, 10, a student at Sheridan Elementary School in Allentown, after she did an exam and found no cavities on Tuesday morning. The Allentown School District staff screens for students in need of dental care and have the necessary insurance or no insurance. The mobile unit treats students in need of care and works at the school each Tuesday. It also services other schools in the area on a regular basis. |
