SPRINGFIELD -- Volunteers from the Springfield Bar Association will help people complete healthcare directives (what used to be called living wills) on Thursday in Greene and Christian counties. April 16 is National Healthcare Decisions Day.
The directives include two parts. Both are designed to protect a person when that person can't make decisions for himself or herself.
Here are the sites, along with the times, where attorneys will be on Thursday:

--The Library Station, 2535 N. Kansas Expressway, Springfield, 10-7
--Brentwood Branch Library, 2214 S. Brentwood Ave., Springfield, 10-7

--City Hall, 304 S. Clark, Clever, 11-1
--City Hall, 216 Kentling, Highlandville, 11-1
--Senior Center, 727 N. 9th St., Ozark, 11-1
--Senior Center, 131 North Ave., Sparta, 11-1
