CRIME STOPPERS and the Springfield Police Department are asking for help in identifying the suspect in an armed robbery occurring at Hot Shots Coffee and Espresso, 2938 E. Sunshine St., on Dec. 17 at approximately 5:45 a.m.
In that incident, a man entered the business and demanded money. The robber is described as white, about 6-foot-2 and 160-180 pounds. The robber was wearing a gray zipped up “hoodie” sweatshirt, dark jeans, and athletic shoes.
The robber’s face was covered with a homemade mask, which consisted of dark material with holes cut out for the mouth and eyes. The robber was also wearing gloves. The victim reported the man kept his right hand in the front pocket of his sweatshirt, and there was a bulge in that pocket, which the victim believed was a gun.
The robber also stole the wallet and its contents from the co-owner of the business, who was present during the robbery. No photographs are available in this robbery.

CRIME STOPPERS and the Springfield Police Department are also asking for help in identifying a robber at Novedades Navarro, 1803 W. Grand St. on Dec. 23. In that incident, a man entered the business and stole items from the business.
The clerk on duty reported the robber kept his left hand in his coat pocket during the incident, and the clerk believed the suspect was armed with a gun.
The robber is black, about 5-foot-6l with a medium build. He was wearing a dark blue jacket, gloves, and a black knit stocking cap/mask that covered his face.
The robber took jewelry from the business, including a gold bracelet with the name tag that said “Mis 3 Anos”, one gold ring with three charms, one gold bracelet with the name tag “Mis 15 Anos”, one gold bracelet with the name tag “Amor”, two gold necklaces with a charm attached to each, and one gold bracelet with the name tag “Diavanni.”
The robber left the area in a gray truck. No photographs are available in this incident.
