Man charged for having dangerous drugs is likely hiding in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD -- Crime Stoppers is asking for help locating Johnnie Young. Young is wanted in Greene County on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He also has a misdemeanor warrant.

Young, 44, is white, 6-foot-4, and 220 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Young may have short-cut hair, rather than the style shown in this photo. Young has tattoos on both arms, left shoulder and left leg. Officers think Young is still hiding in the Springfield area with the assistance of friends.

If you know the whereabouts of Young, you can call Crime Stoppers at (417) 869-TIPS (8477) or submit information securely online at www.tipsubmit.com. You do not have to give your name and no attempt is made to find out who you are.

Crime Stoppers takes information about wanted felons and unsolved felonies.  It pays rewards of up to $1,000 in cash for the information that leads to the arrest and the filing of charges against people involved in felonies.
