Flu season is worst in several years

This has been an especially nasty flu season for parts of the Ozarks. Through Monday, the Springfield-Greene County Health Department had received 1,065 confirmed cases of influenza. That compares to 481 cases during last year's flu season. Health experts say a flu strain developed that was not targeted by this year's vaccine.
