Franklin County Emergency Services report
The following incidents were reported by Franklin County (Pa.) Emergency Services:
Thursday
• At 8:33 p.m., Chambersburg Fire Department responded to an outside investigation in the area of the 400 block of Lincoln Way West in Chambersburg.
• At 8:35 p.m., Greencastle Fire Department responded to 350 W. Madison St. in Greencastle, Pa., for a commercial fire alarm.
• At 10:22 p.m., Waynesboro Fire Department and Blue Ridge Summit Fire Department responded to 13405 John Kline Road in Frederick County, Md., for a building fire.
Friday
• At 7 a.m., Waynesboro Fire and EMS were dispatched to the intersection of West King Street and North Grant Street for an auto accident.
Police investigate theft of pickup truck
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the theft of a pickup truck from a Greene Township used car dealership between Saturday, Jan. 21, and Monday.
The 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 was stolen from Kyner's Auto Sales, 2040 Lincoln Way East, between 4 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Monday, police said.
The truck is hunter green, has an extended cab and a gray primer tailgate, police said.
Theft of copper wire being investigated
GREENCASTLE, Pa. — The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the theft of copper wire from a cellphone tower earlier this month.
The tower site at 10580 Antrim Church Road was broken into between Jan. 8 and Jan. 19, and several feet of copper wire and copper bars were taken, police said.
The lock to the gate had been cut to gain entry, police said.
