Collapsed mine shaft in Springfield is temporarily stabilized

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- One of the homeowners whose house was threatened after a mine shaft collapse last Tuesday night says his and a neighbor's home are still intact.  He says crews have done some temporary bracing and filled the hole with about 80 tons of crushed rock.
