Photos: Meeting in Mountain Grove on establishing horse slaughter plant
Supporters of a possible horse slaughter plant met at a livestock sale arena on Monday afternoon. They said they no longer will try to have a plant in the Twin Cities Industrial Park between Mountain Grove and Cabool, but will seek to build at another location, possibly in the Mountain Grove area. Opponents of a horse slaughtering plant protested on the road outside the arena.
