The E-List: CHRISTMAS TV SPECIALS by Ethan Forhetz

They say Black Friday is the "official start" of the holiday season, but if you ask me, it's not Christmastime until you see the first Christmas special of the year on TV. Granted, they're starting earlier and earlier each year, but that's beside the point. When Burl Ives, Mickey Rooney or Fred Astaire appear in 1960's stop-action animation, THAT'S when it's Christmas -- the most wonderful time of the year. Here are my all-time favorite Christmas specials -- I'm guessing some of them will be your all-time favorites, too.
