LAMPE, Mo. -- The Black Oak Amphitheater is set to host the biggest summer of concerts since the historic venue’s renovation and reopening in 2010.  Partnering with title sponsor Coors Light® and presented by PFI, the home of BootDaddy, the series will include some of the most popular touring acts in the nation.

Branson’s official kickoff to summer is Memorial Day Weekend.  On Sunday, May 26, Grammy Nominated member of the Grand Old Opry, actor, and television personality Trace Adkins will lead off the summer series.  Rocker Aaron Lewis will support Adkins on the kick-off show.

Lewis, best known for his work as the lead singer of Staind, has sold 13 Million albums worldwide.  The Staind hit, “It’s Been Awhile, continues to be the most played rock song of the decade.  Rounding out the May 26 lineup is the southern rock group Blackberry Smoke, which has toured with ZZ Top and The Marshal Tucker Band.

On June 23, country superstar Tim McGraw will bring his Two Lanes of Freedom tour to Black Oak.  In his record-shattering career, McGraw has sold over 40 million albums, and dominated the charts with 32 Number One singles.  Since the release of his debut album in 1993, he has won three Grammys, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards, 12 Country Music Association Awards, and 10 American Music Awards.

Supporting McGraw will be Brantley Gilbert with his #1 hits including “Country Must Be Country Wide and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do.”  Gilbert is also known for writing Jason Aldean #1 hits “Dirt Road Anthem and “My Kinda Party.  Completing the June 23 lineup will be Love & Theft, which earned its first country radio #1 in 2012 with “Angel Eyes

July 5, southern rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd will return to Black Oak Amphitheater.  With more than 30 million albums sold, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame group's pop culture classic is “Sweet Home Alabama.”  Lynyrd Skynyrd also holds the post renovation attendance record at Black Oak Amphitheater with more than 8,000 during their 2010 show with ZZ Top.

Hinder, the multi-Platinum Oklahoma City hard rockers best known for their Billboard Pop Chart #1 “Lips Of An Angel,”  will take the stage before Lynyrd Skynyrd.  Hinder’s 2005 debut album Extreme Behavior sold over three-million copies in the U.S. and their 2008 follow-up album Take It To The Limit surpassed Gold status after debuting at #4 on the Billboard Top 200.  Self-described “southern-fried hard rockers” Black Stone Cherry will also perform on the July 5 lineup.  Black Stone Cherry’s 2008 album Folklore & Superstition debuted at #1 on the UK rock chart and “White Trash Millionaire” was the lead single off their latest album “Between The Devil and The Deep Blue Sea”.

Completing the initial group of shows announced in the concert series is Journey on Friday, Aug. 16.  Journey has earned 19 Top 40 singles and 25 Gold and Platinum albums. The band's Greatest Hits album is certified 15 times Platinum, bringing Journey into the elite club of Diamond-certified album holders.  Journey’s anthemic single, “Don’t Stop Believin” is the top selling digital catalog song in history with over 4.4 million downloads in the United States.  Additional support acts for the August 16 show are pending.
