SPRINGFIELD -- Four former
workers at George's Processing Plant in Butterfield pleaded guilty on Tuesday
for immigration and identity theft violations.
They are among 135 who were arrested during a federal raid at the plant
in Barry County on May 22.
Five others pleaded guilty to
similar charges last month. Officials
say the investigation is ongoing.

release from the office of the U.S. attorney for the Western District of
Missouri, John Wood:
Belia Aldaba-Chavez, 31, a
citizen of Guatemala, and Juan Manuel Rivera-Lucio, 35, and Hugo Enrique
Ocampo-Ocampo, 27, both citizens of Mexico, pleaded guilty on Tuesday before
U.S. Chief Magistrate Judge James England to charges in separate indictments
returned on June 27. Saul Flores-Roblero,
25, a citizen of Mexico, pleaded guilty on Monday.
Each of the four defendants pleaded guilty to falsely claiming
to be a U.S. citizen, aggravated identity theft and misuse of a Social Security
number. In addition, Aldaba-Chavez,
Rivera-Lucio and Ocampo-Ocampo each pleaded guilty to illegally
reentering the United States after having been deported.
