BERRYVILLE, Ark. – A former school nurse who is accused of having sex with a teenager could face more criminal charges.  Jennifer Cisco, 30, went back to the Carroll County jail on Monday.

Cisco was arrested and charged in mid-November with second-degree sexual assault of a 17-year-old boy.  She was back in court on Monday, prosecutors say, because of more of the same behavior.

Cisco went to jail in November, accused of providing alcohol to minors and having sex with one of them.

“In Arkansas, a 30 year old having sex with a 17 year old would not ordinarily be a crime but, because she was a school employee and he was a student at the school, it's a sexual offense,” said Carroll County prosecutor Tony Rogers.

Cisco was arrested Nov. 15 for having sex with a 17-year-old student.  As a result, she lost her job as a school nurse in the Green Forest School District.

Last month, Cisco was released from jail on her own recognizance, and didn't have to post any bond.  Monday, the judge reconsidered that ruling after the Carroll County sheriff says deputies discovered Cisco in a similar situation after she was charged in the first case.

“When we got the call, she was with boys at a motel in Harrison,” said Sheriff Bob Grudek.

Grudek says, this time, it was with a 16 year old at a Days Inn.  The boy's mother testified in court on Monday but did not wish to do an interview with a reporter.  She told the judge that Cisco got her son drunk before having sex with him.

“She's very unhappy, extremely unhappy,” said Grudek.

“I think the important thing was to get her to stop meeting these juveniles,” said Rogers.

Rogers says, because 16 is the age of consent in Arkansas, possible charges in the second case depend on whether Cisco was a school employee at the time. She could also be charged again with providing alcohol to minors.

Cisco's posted a $25,000 bond and left the Carroll County jail on Monday afternoon.
