The sheriff's office in Fulton County, Arkansas has taken several reports of an apparent phone scam in the Mammoth Springs area.
The phone call alleges to be an emergency call from the country of Mexico and asks the recipient of the call to dial a number that beings with *72.
Doing that will allow a third party to bill calls to the phone number of the recipient. Police say do not dial *72. But if you've already done so, *73 will cancel it.
