More than a million homes in foreclosure nationwide, and a troubling increase right here in the Ozarks. Murney Associates have more than 200 foreclosed properties on the market right now. that's double from last year. And realtor Trenton Finn says that is in part due to single investors building multiple homes in one place, and then being unable to unload them, even after dropping the prices. You can also see the impact in residential building permits. Year to date over last year, Greene County has seen a 50% drop in applications for new homes. It's a slow down the county hasn't seen in 23 years.
