SPRINGFIELD -- The greeting card companies can make a fortune off the loved ones of the Swanson family. Deegan Swanson arrived Tuesday night at St. John's Hospital. The 8-pound, 14-ounce baby shares his birthday of March 25 with his mother, Kami; his father, Gene; and his parents' wedding anniversary. His aunt also shares a birthday with Deegan and his parents.

Deegan's original due date was March 19. His father says a doctor asked if they wanted to induce labor on March 25. They declined because they wanted Deegan to be his "own man" if that's the way it worked out," Gene Swanson said. Instead, Deegan arrived on his own on that day.
