We begin with breaking news from Shannon County-- where sheriff's deputies are looking for at least one suspect for the shooting death of a woman. It happened at a home in Winona overnight.

A relative of the suspect tells KY3 News a man who was with the victim was able to escape.

Laclede County sheriff's detectives are waiting on dental records to determine if human remains are those of a missing woman. The sheriff's department believes the bones found in fields near Drynob, 10 miles east of Lebanon, on Tuesday are those of Tracie Wahwassuck, who disappeared in April 2007.

Wahwassuck's boyfriend is the last person to report seeing her alive. Her father believes she was murdered and hopes the remains found by investigators will lead to a break in the case.

A man from Camden County is accused of having inapproriate sexual contact with a 10-year-old girl. Harley Christy is charged with two counts of statutory sodomy.

The victim reported the incident to school administrators a week ago. After the investigation began, the sheriff says Christy went into hiding. Officers arrested him in Lebanon on Wednesday.

BENTONVILLE, ARK. -- Wal-Mart says sales of groceries and items such as flat-screen TVs boosted its same-store sales in April above Wall Street analysts' expectations. The world's largest retailer says same-store sales rose 3.2 percent, easily beating Wall Street's 2.1-percent growth forecast. Including fuel, same-store sales climbed 3.8 percent.

The sales figure, which counts only stores open at least one year, is considered a key measure of a retailer's fiscal health.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - With just a week left in their session, Missouri lawmakers could consider a number of remaining bills on Thursday. Legislators may take action to extend agricultural tax breaks, legalize professional midwives and grant greater ability for nurse practitioners to prescribe drugs.
