Security camera video may help nab armed robber in Rogersville

ROGERSVILLE, Mo. -- A man robbeed Bill's Quick Mart in Rogersville about 11:30 p.m. on May 8. Newly released video may help the Webster County Sheriff's Department find the robber.

The robber wore a ski mask. The clerk said he appeared to be wearing makeup around his eyes. He also wore a dark colored Nike jacket with the trademark swoosh on the front and back of the coat.

The man may be in his 20s or low 30s. He's white and appeared to have a large burn or birthmark on his left inside ankle. He left on foot and no one saw a getaway vehicle.

Anyone who recognizes this man or is aware of someone having a burn or birthmark can contact Detective Rick Hamilton with the Webster County Sheriff's Department at (417) 880-9387. Webster County Crime Stoppers is also offering a $500 reward for anyone who supplies information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person.
