NIXA, Mo. -- A standoff between a man and police officers ended peacefully Wednesday afternoon after more than three and a half hours. Police arrested the man and expect charges will be filed against him.

Police went to a home on Spruce Street after four teenagers reported a man waved a pistol at them. Police evacuated a handful of homes around that home, while a special response team worked to get the man to surrender.

Police say the man didn't fire the weapon but say he did threaten the teenagers.
