The highway patrol says speeding played a role in a deadly crash north of Branson. Raul Montalvo, 20, of Branson died Wednesday night when his pickup hit a traffic pole at the Highway F/U.S. 65 interchange.

In Maries County, a crash east of Vienna killed a teenage boy. Cody Robertson, 14, of Vichy died Wednesday night when a car ran off Missouri 42 and flipped. The 17-year-old driver is being treated for serious injuries.

In Dent County, an accident near Salem killed two other teenagers. Mario Feurstein and Cody McMurray died from injuries in the wreck that happened Tuesday. Troopers say their truck veered off Missouri 19 and overturned.

There's a delay in reopening Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park. The park near Lesterville was damaged in December 2005 when the Taum Sauk reservoir collapsed.

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources hoped to reopen it by this Memorial Day weekend but recent flooding delayed work on a new trail and boardwalk. DNR hopes to have the park open by the end of June.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - A chocolate Labrador Retriever named Molly has been used in all types of searches and rescues in southwest Missouri for years. Today she's is scheduled for surgery. Veterinarians at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine plan to install a pacemaker that Molly's handlers in Newton County hope will allow her to continue her work.

CROSSETT, Ark. (AP) - Another biodiesel plant is up and running in Arkansas. Pinnacle Biofuels in Crossett began production this month, becoming the state's third biofuel site. The plant makes B100 - or pure biodiesel.
