Around 8 p.m. Sunday night, a helicopter crashed into Lake of the Ozarks. The crash happened at mile marker 15 on the lake, near the Community Bridge.
The Missouri Water Patrol says five people were on board the helicopter. Four have been rescued with officials searching for the fifth.
Witnesses say it appeared the helicopter was hovering over mile marker 15 cove, as if it was landing. Suddenly, the copter starting spinning, then crashed into the lake.
