MYRTLE, Mo. -- A man from Arkansas died after suffering an unknown medical problem while tubing on the Eleven Point River in Oregon County. Billy Florence, 43, of Sheridan, Ark., fell into the water around 2 p.m. Sunday while tubing on the river near the Myrtle Access, about a mile north of Arkansas, according to the Missouri State Water Patrol.

Nearby tubers pulled Florence from the water and performed CPR. A helicopter ambulance took him to a hospital in Poplar Bluff but he died at 10:35 a.m. Monday, the water patrol said.
