  • ...Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until noon CST today... A Winter Storm Warning for freezing drizzle and snow remains in effect until noon CST today.
  • Short term trends...freezing drizzle will continue this morning on top of the 4 to 7 inches of snowfall that has already occurred. Areas where the snow plows have cleared the snow will likely be slick due to a thin glaze of ice from the freezing drizzle. The freezing drizzle is expected to continue through the morning.
  • Timing and areas affected...portions of southwest and south central Missouri through the morning hours...generally around the Interstate 44 corridor east of Highway 65.
  • Snow and sleet accumulations...little or no additional snow accumulation is expected.
