Edited news release from the FBI:

On Wednesday at approximately 2:05, a man verbally demanded money from several tellers. The robber kept one hand in his sweatshirt pocket, implying he might have a weapon.

The tellers complied with the robber’s demands and gave him money. The robber fled on foot, running from the bank.

The robber is white, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11, 160 to 180 pounds and slender, with a brown or red goatee. He appeared to be in his late 20s to late 30s. He wore a dark blue long sleeved sweatshirt with a large front pocket/pouch and hood, brown-framed sunglasses with dark lenses, and blue jeans.

He may have fled in a white pickup with a camper shell. The robber carried a medium sized dark blue or black gym bag with two handles. The bag may have a “hunter green” logo near the top of it. The robber may be a construction worker.

Anyone with information can call the Greene County Sheriff’s Department at (417) 868-4040 or the FBI at (417) 882-3303.
