WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The White House says First Lady Laura Bush will visit Mansfield, Mo., next Friday. Her official schedule says she'll visit the Laura Ingalls Wilder Historic Home and Museum at noon.
The home and museum is where Wilder wrote the "Little House on the Prairie" series and other books in the early 20th Century. They were about her family's life as they moved around the Upper Plains states in the late 1800s.
