SPRINGFIELD -- Two people were shot at outside a nightclub early Saturday. Police say it happened right around closing time at the Electric Cowboy.
Johnathon Kates, 21, is charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action. Police says he pulled out a rifle and shot two other men in the parking lot.
Police say the two men's injuries are non-life-threatening. The motive of the shooting is not yet clear.
