We all choose our life choices, but if we are used to something we do what is comfortible to us. This blog is filled with uneducated random people. It's amasing that even you people are out there. I write because this person fits the discription of a person that scared me last week in the darkness between my house an the neighbors. He did not persue me he ran, it seemed he was just hiding. Non the less I called 911! I do hope he get's a fair trial!Sorry about my spelling!IN A HURRY!

Ive known chris for 12 years. He was my older brothers best friend and I know "NO EXCUSE" and "CALHOUN2" dont know crap about what they are talking about. They dont know chris personally so they have no right to judge him. Chris didnt steal any car , he traded another car but had to wait a couple of days for a title from the guy. The guy he got it from went to prison the same night he bought it,his girlfriend wouldnt give chris the title and reported it stolen knowing she could get away with it.

STEVEN, YOUR WHOLE PARAGRAPH DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE. "CHRIS COULDN'T AFFORD TO REG THE CAR, SO HE TOOK BACK WHAT WAS RIGHTFULLY HIS AND THEN JUST DESPENSED OFF A COUPLE OF ROUNDS" YOU SOUND LIKE A COUNTRY BUMPKIN. CHRIS FAILED HIMSELF. JUSTICE, AS YOU CALL IT, IS JUST DOING THEIR JOB. SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE DISTORTED THE TRUTH. GREAT REAL!!!!!!!!!!

You and all of the of neg. commenting people are from the snobby south side of springfield where your kids grew up in happy homes and did not have to worry about where their next meal was coming from Cris, and I both along with alot of others actually realized the hardships very young in life and believe it or not YES it can affect the way you turn out in life, because you grow up thinking that you have to make things yours any way poss. because no one is ever going to stop to think about helping

So mommajean you did not let him live with you. just fed him meals and out the door. being abused is not a excuse to bad behavior. his dad may have been bad but you were twice as bad for not doing something to stop it. Quit defending him because of abuse. There would be no one in jail if the abuse card worked......

I'am not Chris's Momma and to let you know she died early in life of Cancer. I did have Chris in my home several times as a teenager when his father was out with his women and locked his boys out of their home. I was also around when one of Chris's friends died from huffing butane another victim of a bad father who would lock his son out and the boy would take cover on I44 under an overpass just to stay dry. Most of the time all these boys had was each other and a hot meal at my house.

Come on momma. Blame his father because he ran around with other women and was not there for his kids. Get a life. Maybe you were not woman enough for a real man. Maybe to ugly, stupid, over bearing etc. Dont blame daddy. Many kids grow up with out parents and they dont do stupid things like your son. Besides most men are not in there kids life because you women wont allow them by lying to courts, crying abuse and so on. Hey Chris turn yourself in and be a real man.

TO CHRIS'S MAMA, I AM SORRY. SOMETIMES OUR KIDS DO THINGS WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER.

HET STEVEN, I DON'T CARE IF HE SAVED THE POPE, THAT GIVES HIM NO RIGHT TO STEAL SOMEONES CAR, AND BRANDISH A WEAPON. WE ALL HAVE BAD THINGS HAPPEN IN OUR LIVES, BUT YOU TRY TO RISE ABOVE IT AND NOT USE IT AS A CRUTCH! GET REAL. OH! AND YOU STATEMENT ABOUT ME GETTING A JOB AND PAY TAXES AND THEN I CAN SIT AT THE GROWNUP TABLE AND DISCUSS, IS THAT THE BEST YOU HAVE?

Chris didn't steal a car. He could't afford to register it so he trusted it in someone else's name. That someone reminded him why people cannot be tusted. Rather than give up he fought it by hiding what was rightfully his. Justice failed Chris and he was the one charged. The gun issue stems from Chris dispensing a few rounds into the air on the outer edge of town. Another mile down the highway and he would be just another bored bumpkin. The truth sounds less disturbing, doesn't it?

I would hate to think that someone would justify someone's actions by their childhood life.I did not have a very good childhood, but that does'nt mean I'm going to go stealing and hold someone up with a gun or kill someone !!There is NO excuse!Everyone has a choice how they want their life to be.Chris chose that way of living. It was not his father,but- where was his mother during his childhood ??? It really makes you wonder!!

I am deeply ashamed of the parties responsible for the previous comments. I am astonished that complete strangers will cower behind keyboards and comment on someone they don't know. I met Chris fifteen years ago, I know him. He pulled a toddler out of a burning car when we were 17. In conclusion, when CALHOUN2 aquires a job and pays taxes they can sit at the grown-up's table and discuss!
