KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The Kansas City Chiefs say running back Larry Johnson is being investigated for a second altercation with a woman. Police say the incident happened last week during the team's bye week. Johnson already faces a December court date on a charge of simple assault involving an incident with a woman in February.

Early voting for the November general election begins in Arkansas on Monday. Election officials expect record numbers.

Secretary of state Charlie Daniels predicts between 65 and 70 percent of the state's 1.6 million voters will cast ballots; 72 percent of Arkansas voters went to the polls in 1992 when Gov. Bill Clinton ran for president.

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Sen. John McCain visits Missouri on Monday. In St. Louis, the Republican presidential hopeful hosts a 9 a.m. rally at New Town in St. Charles. Doors open at 7 a.m. and tickets are required.

A 3:45 p.m. McCain rally is planned at Heartland High School and Academy in Belton, south of Kansas City. Doors open for that event at 2:45 p.m.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Investigators are picking through the rubble of a historic restaurant that was ripped by an explosion and fire on Sunday night. The Hereford House is heavily damaged after the blast, which left a hole in the side of the structure.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- This year's Arkansas State Fair set a new attendance record. More than 467,000 people visited the fair this year, that's up five percent from a year ago. Officials say pleasant weather likely contributed to the increase.
