SPRINGFIELD – The campaign rally on Saturday night of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama will be at John F. Kennedy Stadium at Parkview High School. The candidate’s wife, Michelle, also is planning to be there.

The doors to the stadium open at 6 p.m. The rally is scheduled to start at 9. The event is free and tickets are not required. The campaign staff said, however, that it encourages RSVPs to a contact found at MO.barackobama.com.

The stadium is on Grant Avenue, halfway between Sunshine and Grand streets. For security reasons, people should not bring bags, chairs, umbrellas, signs or banners, and should limit the personal items.
