In a moving ceremony members of the news media and many of their children were invited to watch the arrival of a rare piece of Titanic history in Branson Saturday.
A small wicker suitcase that once belonged to the only living survivor of the Titanic disaster arrived at the Titanic Museum Attraction for a two month showing.The suitcase filled with donated clothing was given to Millvina Dean as she arrived in New York City after being rescued with her mother and brother in 1912.
“This will be the world’s first look at an important piece of Titanic history, one that’s not been seen by the public for 96 years,” said John Joslyn, owner of the museum.The suitcase will be on display until December 31st.
