OSAGE BEACH, Mo. -- City police broke up a large party at which a bunch of minors were drinking alcohol. Police say they also found marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The party at a home on Autumn Lane was on Saturday night. Around midnight, officers raided the party, which caused those in the house to scatter and hide in the house.

Police say they issued citations to 12 people over age 16 for being minors in possession of intoxicants. They arrested and issued citations to four people under age 17, and released them to their parents. A 17-year-old woman from Sunrise Beach was arrested because police say she hadn’t shown up in court to face traffic charges.

The 20-year-old renter of the home is charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He could face more charges for letting people under age 21 consumer alcoholic beverages. Police also said they found some items that were stolen from a home in Camden County. That could lead to other charges.
