Man robs bank in Hickory County

WEAUBLEAU, Mo. -- A man robbed the Sun Security Bank and tied up a clerk about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. He was wearing a black stocking cap and bandanna, and pointed a dark colored automatic pistol at the clerk.

The Hickory County Sheriff's Department says the robber tied up the clerk with zip ties and grabbed money from the night deposit box. He drove off in a green 4-door car without front or rear license plates (see photo above).

The FBI sayd the robber is white, abouat 5-feet-8 to 6-feet-0, thin and in his 40s or 50s. He was wearing blue jeans and a stocking cap. He may be either bow-legged or limping.
