BERRYVILLE, Ark. -- The mayor is free on bond after he was picked up for driving while intoxicated. Police arrested Tim McKinney, 56, in Washington County early Thursday. Police reports say McKinney was also booked for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
McKinney pleaded guilty last year for drunken driving and paid a $1,400 fine but served no jail time. A representative at Berryville City Hall said Friday afternoon that he is not suspended from office because of the arrest.
