FAIR PLAY, MO -- A local Habitat for Humanity chapter breaks ground on a new dream.

It's the fourth Habitat home for Polk County and the first in Fair Play.

This project also marks the first time the local chapter will team with Thrivent Financial who will be providing much of the funding and labor.

Habitat is still deciding which family this home will go to.

"I think what Habitat does is it gives people a step-up," Bob Stewart, the President of Polk County Habitat for Humanity said. "People who have difficulty because of financial conditions because of illness or something... And they really need that helping hand."

Stewart hopes the home will be done by November.
