WEST PLAINS, Mo.. -- Two men are charged with second-degree murder because a man died after being beaten outside a bar in Willow Springs. Larry Davis, 49, of Willow Springs and Jason Ballinger, 26, of Cabool are accused of killing Charles Elliott of Cabool.
Elliott, 44, was attacked last Wednesday, and died at a hospital in Springfield on Friday. Howell County Prosecuting Attorney Mike Hutchings charged Davis and Ballinger on Friday. Police say they don't know the motive for the beating.
