SPRINGFIELD -- The Council of Churches of the Ozarks hopes it can turn one dollar into two with a challenge to the community. A number of businesses and foundations have agreed to match cash donations coming into the Council of Churches, up to $40,000.
Council of Churches works in several areas across the community providing basic human services. The group celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
