Police say three deaths In Cole Camp were homicides

COLE CAMP, Mo. -- Police found three bodies in a home on Tuesday morning. They opened a homicide investigation and obtained a search warrant for the home.

The victims were Donnie Luetjen, 64, Sharon Luetjen, 61, and their granddaughter, Taron Luetjen, 15, all from Cole Camp,

The Missouri Highway Patrol says someone called Cole Camp police about 11:30 a.m. because of a concern about the residents in the home on Elm Street. Highway Patrol Sgt. Scott Meyer says, when police arrived, they noticed "suspicious circumstances."

Police did not enter the home until 5:15 Tuesday evening after obtaining the search warrant.

The Rural Missouri Major Case Squad will help with the investigation.
