MORRISVILLE -- A Morrisville man plead guilty Thursday to class C felony stealing in Polk County Circuit Court.

According to court documents, Jason McMillen, 35, plead guilty to stealing about $5,000 from a Cub Scout pack in Morrisville, of which he was formerly the Cubmaster.

McMillen received a suspended sentence, three years probation, 300 hours community service and $150 to the county law enforcement restitution fund.

According to the probable cause statement, a Cub Scout committee chairperson contacted the sheriff's office on March 13 and said McMillen had written checks for his personal use from the Cub Scout Pack No. 376 bank account.
