SPRINGFIELD -- A man was shot Saturday evening in Washington Park on Summit Street. Police say Tyrone Keith was shot in the back of the head just before 6. Witnesses say the shot was fired from a van with two men inside.

Keith was conscious after the shooting and spoke with police while being treated in a hospital. About six hour later, officers arrested two men who they believe were in the van. The arrests were in the 2300 block of E. Macs Court. Prosecutors then charged one of those men for the shooting.

Officers say the men in the van and and Keith know each other and this was the result of an ongoing feud. They say Keith's injuries are not life threatening.

Anthony Neal is charged with first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. A judge set his bond at $200,000.
