The Springfield Cardinals, the winners of the first half Texas League North Division, are back to an even 5-5 to start the second half of the season after a 7-2 win Sunday night over South Division leader Midland.

The Rockhounds had an early 1-0 lead until the Cards got 4-runs in the 3rd, the first scoring on a pitch that got past Midland's catcher. From there Springfield added another run on an RBI single by Mike Folli in the 5th, and with Folli and Tony Cruz getting two RBI's apiece, the Cards would roll on to the 5-run victory.

The two teams continue their 3-game series Monday night at 7:10. For highlights and the latest on injured Futures all-star game invitee Daryl Jones, please view the accompanying video.
