NEW YORK CITY -- Pop star Sheryl Crow will sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" before the All-Star game in St. Louis on Tuesday night. The nine-time Grammy winner also plans to perform at an All-Star charity concert this weekend with Elvis Costello, with Major League Baseball donating $1 million to Stand Up To Cancer.

Country star Sara Evans, like Crow a Missouri native, will sing "God Bless America" during the seventh-inning stretch, the commissioner's office said Thursday. President Barack Obama is scheduled to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

"American Idol" winner David Cook of Blue Springs, a suburb of Kansas City, will perform two songs before the Home Run Derby on Monday. Nikko Smith, an "American Idol" finalist in 2005 and son of Cardinals Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith, will sing the national anthem.

R&B's Ginuwine will perform the anthem before Sunday's Futures game.
