SPRINGFIELD -- You've heard of on-line resumes but what about radio resumes?
People in the Ozarks are advertising on-air for a job.
KGBX is giving away something of value - free air time. They treat it as a radio contest.
All you have to do is log onto their website and fill out a form of why you want your resume on the radio.
At the end of the week, staff select five contestants and help them make a 30 second free commercial, marketing themselves.
This has only been in place for two weeks and the operations manager of Clear Channel Radio says they're getting a huge response.
"We've had administrative assistants," Paul Kelley said. "We've had people who've been in the workforce for 30 plus years, who have lots of experience, to we've got a guy who is just trying to provide for his family who is 20-years-old who says I got a kid at home and I just need to go to work."
Besides the five stations here in the Ozarks, Clear Channel owns stations across the country and this is something many of the radio stations are doing to help put people back to work.
